Governor Rell’s Executive Order Number 34 established the Electric Vehicles Infrastructure Council to:
Strategize on preparing the State for rapid & seamless integration of electric vehicles into the market
Coordinate inter-agency decision-making on critical issues
Establish performance measures for meeting infrastructure funding, environmental & regulatory goals
